Belle itself comes from french word, means " Beauty"
as we know this magazine also talks about how to maximize your inner and outer beauty

right before your wedding day. The title really suites the contains of the magazine.

 

Overall the design quite represent the beauty itself, from the colour, we choose girlish and feminine colours.

The ornaments that we're using also represent elegance and luxury. If we look further to the overall contents

and also realize the price of this magazine, then we should have already known that the market for

this magazine for the upper class.

As we talk about the magazine cover, there are something we shouldn't forget.

 

 

these two represent everything about the content of the magazine, Belle has a very clear systematic if we comparing both of the first and second cover. The title of the main article should goes to the centre, meanwhile the rest of the article's title goes below it. The systematic also shown by how I use the design elements (ornaments,line, etc) and also the photograpy style for each edition cover.

 

As for the name plate design, I'm using Bauer Bodoni Italic typeface.

Bodoni has always known for how sophisticated and elegant the typeface can be and also for it's legibility. 

This typeface was easy to be read and remember, bodoni also represent the shape of beauty and femininity.
