Athena were looking to rebrand their existing construction business. What made Athena different from other contractors was their strong presence in the conservation area of construction. Working in churches, listed buildings and museums they faced a very different challenge, none of their clients wanted to see their contractor. The thought of a builder next to their priceless building was enough to turn them off doing essential building work.
 
Format Design London took this as a opportunity to play on the powerful and historic name 'Athena' and with the use of serif fonts and mute colours, made Athena's quality shine through as well as let them blend in with their clients vision. We created a strong, timeless brand which we hope will last as long as some of the building they preserve.
