In this project I had the opportunity to reinterpret the classic board game "Jogo da Glória" adding in to the mix the imaginarium of of Alice in Wonderland.

My intent here was to focus a bit more on the "game" aspect of the brief, and bring this classic to a more vector and colorful side of the 21st century.

For this I stuck to a certain look of simplicity and clean design so they could withstand the test of time a little bit better.

But in applying this simplicity I couldn't go full minimalist, since that could make the game look cold and unwelcoming and I didn't want that.

I decided to use Craft paper to create the board, box and playable characters and also altered the colors a little to a warmer shade.

Another aspect I could control, was the style in which the whole thing was represented, and a certain "cartooniness" to the illustrations and their expressions worked very well in creating this happy and light feel to the project.

Overall this project was an interesting exploration of what I could do with illustration and that's why I still include it in my portfolio.
