Caretta Caretta
A Project about a Turtle
This was a school project to promote the protection of a species of turtle endemic to my island; Madeira. Here you can see the billboard and the book marker developed for this project.

Both mediums have text in English and Portuguese so that both residents and visitors can read the information on the mediums.

Credit to Professor Thomas Dellinger, that so kindly provided the photography work for this project.
The Caretta Caretta turtle is an endangered species, and so the objective of this project was to alert people to the protection of the turtle. They come to Madeira as juveniles and are still vulnerable here, witch makes Madeira a crucial point in their life and protection. It's important to alert people to the need to protect this species so that they help keep them safe, by keeping the sea and rivers clean and encouraging others to do the same.
