Variations on "Turbulence"

I had the color combination blue-violet and orange-red on my mind and remembered reading about Van Gogh's "Starry Night" as a visual model for the concept of Turbulence in Physics.  This made me think of Joni Mitchell's song "Turbulent Indigo".  I guess with all that bouncing through my mind, I was bound to do something with the night sky.  In this case, it starts off with frenetic activity of a city, which starts to burst into chaos.  By the last two images, we are definitely headed toward maximum entropy.  Chaos and firey motion reign through the work and take over as the focus from the night sky.  Pigment prints 11 x 13.3in on Watercolor Paper 12/2014.
