The product idea was to create age old Egyptian designs, whilst sprucing them up with a modern twist. The name was chosen due to the iconic Egyptian monuments (The Pyramids) and the dissection of designs that we go through to give them a new, modern, clean feeling.

 

Sliced Pyramid is an online store, which sells simplistic designs, related to either the brand itself or combine Egyptian design with modern trends. These designs are usually screen printed onto various clothing including hoodies, Sweatshirts, T-Shirts, Vests and many other various products.

The initial idea was to base the brand around the target market as well as the products I was planning to launch.

I didnt want to overly complicate the clothing designs, so opted for something very clean, sleek and modern, which use more of a feeling of interest and simplicity as opposed to illustrative, complicated designs. 

 

Because of this, I opted for a simple two-coloured design. Anything that was not needed to form the brand and/or logo was removed. You will notice that the brand isn’t very apparent, and that is because it i simply very subtle for the exact reason of it being minimal in the way it is constructed.

 

A simple colour pallet consisting of the use of a slightly "off black" colour. This keeps things simple but also gives a grown up, professional feeling to the website and company. Whilst achieving this, it also keeps the trend consistent with the black and white clothing colours. Generally, the clothing designs are black and or white, printed onto the opposite colour garment.
