Fineline Print and Web Rebranding Project

Fineline Printing & Stationery Ltd., founded in 1990 with the amalgamation of two separate print-related businesses, began life as a typical High Street Quick Print Shop, but has now grown to be a leading digital print house in North Wales. The company has maintained its links with the local community via our commercial stationery outlet and copy-services.

Over a period of time, we have overseen an effort to strengthen our communications, unify and clarify our services. To enhance our forward-looking aim we have embarked on a brand redesign journey.

Fineline's old/existing brand logo consisted of the type and an image of the bald eagle counterweight of a Columbian press to coincide with a move to a new premises (known locally as "the Eagles Hotel") nearly a decade ago.

Whilst the traditional printing and colours of Red, Gold and Black served their purpose they quickly became outdated and the Eagle proved difficult to integrate into online material.

Our new brand needed freshening up to show us as a modern creative company that is friendly, trustworthy, easy to use and that there is a clear but recognisable distinction between the different services.

Their needed to be some continuity so we evoked a "hat-tip" to the Eagle mark with our new abstract logo symbol. We also made a clear distinction about our services by creating sub-brands and a colour system for the various departments.
New Website to be launched January 2015
