Celestial Discs are made from tar on wood panel and embedded with metalic powders and tiny pearls to emulate the galaxies of our universe. I want to bring the idea close to home that everything we know on earth comes from the activity in greater space. To be reminded of the vastness of the natural world highlights our fragility and hopefully inspires appreciation of our earthlly environment.
