Big World for Little People
Big World for Little People is a lovely poem by Heidi Emily Eusebio-Abad. I did illustrations for the book and it was published by Vibal LG&M Corporation. in 2014. You can buy copies of the book directly from Vibal or from select National Bookstore branches. :)

I really enjoyed working on this one! It's about a little child exploring the big, big world, so I got to draw this tiny human interacting with different big things! And imagining what the world would look like from his/her perspective was really fun. Check out some spreads from the book below.

Materials used: watercolor, colored pencils, acrylic, and digital.
"Out there is a world so big, and wide, and deep, and tall."
"But all I see are ups, and downs, and ends..."
"...'cause I am small."
"...But all I see are clouds, and wires strung up for poles to hold."
"At dinnertime they gush about the china and the silver..."
"...When from down here it's just the linen – if you don't count the dinner."
"...For me, it's hips and butts and bags, and knobby knees galore."
