Surrealism was what inspired me , and thus I chose to use my medium of expression as Photo Manipulation.

The quote “imagine an umbrella and a sewing machine on an operating table” was my basic inspiration that I got while reading a book on surrealism and then I started working on those lines. Using the same concept of something  not-being-in-its-element , I wanted to create a visual art work.

 

I chose digital manipulation as the art form seeing the visual similarities between surrealism and todays digital art of being able to portray unreal imaginary things and objects.
