It's Christmas time and our friends from MGS and Florida Lottery called us to create a new project for them for this holiday season.

The initial idea was to make two Christmas’ tree CG ornaments that hang from a tree.  These two old friends have shared Christmas together forever and all through the years they go back to the same branches to spend the holidays together and watch all that happens in the house where they live.

One of the loveliest tasks of this job was the creation of characters. In the initial stage we started developing the psychological profile of both characters: how they are, what they like to do, how they arrived to their home, how long it has been since they have known each other and in which place of the house they live in when it is not Christmas time.

These were some of the points that we have dealt with and which allowed us to create two very close friends that wait for the holidays to observe all that happens.

The following stage was the production itself, and the challenge was bringing these characters to life and integrate them into the live action footage.

We enjoyed this project a lot, from the very beginning, the exploration among the characters and their textures, materials, animation and up to finishing composing the last shot of it.
