Education in Philadelphia is a major topic that circulates the news. Pubic schools are being shut down due to budget issues and there is no sign of rescue. One solution that is crrently taking place is the cigarette tax. Cigarette taxes are up to $2 and those taxes go into the Philadelphia public school system. The idea of this project was to come up with something that makes more kids want to go to school, not cut down programs and still make money for the school system. The research conducted compared Philadelphia to three other cities; Annapolis, MD, Knoxville, TN, and Los Angeles, CA.
