The focus of this object was to create an innovative relationship between flat to modifiable objects for an interior space. Our research inspired us by becoming involved in geometric created objects that could be transformed. These designs transcend our traditional thought of what a fixed light could be.
The focus arrived within the process of being able to convert a flat 2-dimensional object into an expandable 3-dimensional light form that becomes a modifiable piece of art for the home.
We took advantage of the limitations created by the strip lights to design a language with our design, not being restricted by form, but a form that can be personalized by the user.
