The story of the girl with the red shoes

The girl with the red shoes
In my version of Hans Christian Andersen tale's, entitled The girl with the red shoes, my main objective was to explore the qualities of the line.
I tried to discover new languages that would give the story its own character and strength. So, I explored how multiple overlapping lines turn out to generate the effect of stain, and as an indication of space can be created by simply placing the horizon line, which underpins the characters. In the case of the protagonist, the girl with the long hair made out of lines, her feet just fall in line with the ground when she is not wearing her red shoes. In doing so I intended to give greater emphasis to the overwhelming effect that these small shoes cause in the girl the moment she puts them on. That is, to create the idea that the girl is dancing really out of control and against her will, her feet touch only lightly on the ground line. The remaining characters are so in touch with the line that they seem to rise from it, as if sprouting from the ground.
