A major project assignment for Interactive Media Development at Confederation College. I wanted to try out package design and ended up making a product. By using a 3d printer I was able to create a mold to compress loose leaf tea. The final product is a tea pod which could expand once steeped in hot water. I wanted to create a modern design to attract a younger audience, so I went with a repeated icon design with bright colours which coordinate the different types of tea. The inside of the individual wrapper contains quotes on tea, which can also be seen on the coasters. Each package fits 10 pods.
