    I based the logo for Reykjavik Dance Festival on Laban Dance Notation, or Labanotation. It's an archaic form of transcribing dance, similar to notes for music. It's a system not many in the dance world use, but most know from history. The photo is from a piece by Shalala. The concept of the tickets is falling in love with dance and choreography. Dancing is probably the most obscure of the major arts, and a big part of the festival is finding ways to bring appreciation of this art to a wider audience. The ticket system reflects that; a Friend attends up to 6 shows, a Lover can attend every event, and a single ticket is called a First Date. Read Less
