Bike Restore: WTP trust 2008 finished

Bike before the restore.
I didn't know what frame it was but with some help i've found it and its a WethePeople trust from 2008.
WTP forks (stickers are of now)
Custom painted United Squad 25t Sprocket.
Test fit to see if the spoke lenght was right. its a proflie mini hub laced to an odyssey hazard lite rim.
new colony wasp front hub.
restored profile mini rear hub (new driver 9t)
the bars where spray painted but i sand it down. then i polished it with a great product and this is the result. the grips are from Cube i hade these on my XC bike.
things as it stand atm. i still need to connect the brake and add a chain. maybe i will repaint it in the summer but i'll see.
this could be the result if i repaint it. enjoy!

This is the new plan for the color scheme of the bike. Today i started sanding down the paint. Pictures will follow ones the sanding is completed.
First i needed to unbuild te bike again. this took me like 10 minutes. i also needed to remove all the stickers. After removing them i seems a good idea of using aceton to clean al the glue on the frame. when i did it the paint totally came af. probably because the paint already was spraypaint.
Here is the frame completely raw. All paint and rust was removed. It took like half a day to do it.
This is how it looks atm. The frame now has 3 layers of black primer and 2 layers of color. i still need to add some layers to the color and finish it with some clear varnish.

This is the best shot i could take of it. In Real the color looks much better. In the Shadow i looks almost black but in the sun the color gets intense. I still need to paint the fork. So i keep you updated.
Completed bike, maybe i just redo the seat but don' know for now.
Got a slightly bigger sprocket. I"ve moved from 25t to 28t because i wanted to go faster and this bike is more for trails then park or street.
The sprocket is a Tree Bicycle Co Lite one. It didn't fit in the first place ( was a bit in a rush when ordered ) so i modified it. I also went for a woodgrain look because it looks better in my opinion. The cranks are also new. i got the Odyssey Thunderbolts because of the great strenght/weight ratio and because of the lifetime warranty.
A shot on a more sunny day to show the paint better.
