    Most liquor designs that are connected to Pirate history has always been rum, but (as a fan of whiskey), I wanted to change this up and create a whiskey that is associated with Pirates. This imaginary whiskey rivals rum in flavor and could be marketed to those who aren't typically interested in whiskey. The tag line on the bottle states that it is the "modern pirate's drink of choice". The whole marketing campaign is based on pirate related word humor and is geared towards the mid 20's crowd, while the flavor profile is detailed and could still capture the interest of whiskey fanatics. This was my first exploration with packaging design and I wanted to mess around with the concept of negative and positive space on the bottle label. The illustration of the skull is actually visible through the bottle, as opposed to being printed on the front label. NOTE: The illustration used on the inside bottle label and on the lid is not mine. Due to time constraints, I was unable to create my own illustration and used "No Quarter" by Jorge Garza. Read Less
