Américo Pistola born in the last of the 50´s in the bosom of a family of humble farmers
of the Aveiro region. But Américo always wanted more and when he was eighteen years old, he left Portugal to try the American dream: money and freedom.
He realized very early the success he makes between women and how passionate he was for them. For all! He was a womanizer but a proud womanizer!

After twenty two years working outside his birth place, Américo had the necessary  affluence to be able to materialize his dream: to own the largest farm in Aveiro region. Across in the west by Aveiro river, constituted of fertile plains, meeting unique and more than enough features to justify his
investment.

Doing justice to his reputation, Américo decided to baptize the farm as "Harém" and accept only women to work there, his 4 wifes (Carmen, Amália, Maria and Madalena), cause he was aware of the love that they lend to everything they do and for being one more opportunity to woo them.

Created a brand of regional products, a restaurant aboard a “Moliceiro”(typical boat from this region), fueled almost exclusively by farm products and a shop with crafts and souvenirs. Harém was also recognized nationally for the quality of its wines: Maria Branco and Carmen Rouge.
