An example of a descending minor chord progression: Andalusian cadence (i - VII - VI - V), which appears in Ray Charles' "Hit the Road, Jack", the verse of "Good Vibrations", the instrumental section of David Bowie's "Moonage Daydream", etc.
A chill street hip-hop beat.
One of my favorite progressions: i - VI7 "half cadence". The intro to Dido's "Thank You" has a similar progression. There's a hint of a VII7 after the VI7.
A remix of Mozart's Piano Sonata No. 11 in A major, K 331, last movement Alla Turca, a.k.a. the Turkish March. Done in humorous goodwill.
This was done as a request to write the soundtrack for a friend's animation of mechatronic warfare.
Imagine a group of magical gnomes and sprites trekking along on their epic quest.
A galactic techno dance (dance revolution) beat.
Was going for the Jack Kerouac "on the road" feel. Cited a phrase from Dvořák's Cello Concerto.
Reminiscent of torrential waves.
Another dance beat, but with a mystical vibe.
