Metaperception : A Character Design Project
"We perceive that we see and hear" (Aristotle)
This is a self initiated project where the objective is to observe how people perceive me and then create a character from it.

The process of creating the character was to first list a group of known people (family, friends, relatives, and co-mates) from whom questions were asked in different context and scenarios.

Then, an analysis of the data was made, where repetitive attributes were highlighted like dreamy, vulnerable, adjusting, wandering, and lost. Based on these highlighted attributes, a mood board was created. I then explored different forms of these characteristics through scribbles. Finally, 'Doodlang' was formed.

Exploratory sketches
The character created is called as 'Doodlang' (the name comes from doodles). It levitates around and has a bright glow around its body. It can move in great speed. It can grow or shrink in any size on will.
