Mr. Bond had already found this wall in a nice fisherman´s shack, just outside Chimbai village in Mumbai. The perfect location for some crossover painting experiment.

We had to bring a ladder because there was none around. Walking around with a ladder in heavy Mumbai traffic was a slapstick effort worth a documentary on it´s own.

In the rearview mirror this beautiful, peacefull display. Twice a day the tide came in this bay. One of the residents would climb a palmtree to give us some fresh coconuts.

The tide would also bring loads of trash from the sea. At low tide the shores were scavanged by dogs and pigs.

A few fisherman families lived here, sharing this small spot of tranquillity within the noisy madness of Mumbai.

At night the fishermen would sail out, and in the morning the nets were repaired. After that: alcoholic beverages!

The finished piece. No clue what it is, but we were both satisfied with the experiment. On to the next one!
