Following the 2006 redesign that reversal 20+ years of negative sales trends, Landor and the Coors Banquet brand team identified an opportunity to build upon it’s rediscovered momentum by speaking to the Millennial generation’s core value of authenticity.
Digging into the Coors brewery archives onsite in Golden, Colorado, unearthed a wealth of inspiration. Resurrecting can designs, and stories from the brand’s 140-year history, the team created an annual promotional series.
The can program helped contribute to 5 straight years of +3% to +6% growth in case volume during its summer-time promotional period.
