To conmemorate design day, I had a project which consisted on creating posters without using typical objects or images that related us to design (pencil, colours, computers, glasses, etc). 
I used an azteca symbol wich means communication and gave it the form of an eye, because as graphic designers our principal work is to comunicate through the eyes.

 

The idea of usign an old symbol is to make designers realize how important our profesion is, because our ancesters already use images to communicate something and so do we, hundreds of years after them.
