These are the specifications for Canon EOS 7D Mark II.
The first thing that separate the much awaited new Canon EOS 7D Mark II from other DSLR cameras, is a substantial improvement in range compared to the previous model. For this review, one of the strengths of this model certainly is speed, with the 10 FPS, it is a perfect camera for sports photography.
-Sensor CMOS APS-C 24.1 megapixel
-Dual Digic 5
-10 fps burst
-Dual slot of memory (probably SD/XC)
-AF 61 points (surely see more than 11 cross as the D7100)
-LCD screen of 3, 2″
-GPS and Wi-Fi compatibility (at the CES in Las Vegas has been a novelty in many models)
-Close to the 5 d Mark III ISO sensitivity (the 5D3 comes to 102400 ISO in Hi2)
-Wide range of video options
This new Canon EOS 7 d Mark II has an ISO range that moves from 100 up to 16000 ISO, expandable up to 51200 (25600 in video mode). Canon has also worked in the focusing system, this new model offers 65 points of approach with the possibility of selecting them individually each focus point and choose 4 or 8 points of focus groups, this allows us to expand the approach surface. Also say that the range of sensitivity of the AF system has been improved now coming from a - 3 EV to 18EV.
The video recording is one of the things that the manufacturer has been optimized, the new 7 d Mark II now can record Full HD videos up to a speed of 60 fps and reach a sensitivity of 25600. We can make Time Lapse due to the built-in intervalometer, shoot photos in RAW format in 3 qualities (normal, M and S), possibility of using SD and Cf cards thanks to the built-in dual card holder and all of this at a weight of 910 gr.
