Poster design for Concrete Community, a local committee who fund raise for local skate park improvements.After creating the logo and presenting it at a meeting, we had noticed a lack of people coming to the meetings so we decided to design a poster to try and get people to come along.I chose Avant Garde for the typeface as it matches the logo, and I just love the way it can be used. It took me a number of hours to create the text, due to the complexity of the letter forms. The background was a mix of textures and brushes I found in various places online.This poster is being used to promote the monthly meetings and is being put up in areas people populate in Weston-super-Mare such as skate parks, schools and youth cafes.
