Campaña que nace bajo el propósito de incentivar, desde un código amigable y prudente, al residente del barrio Yungay (Santiago, Chile) a repararlo. El proyecto nace a partir del principio guía de la observación y comprensión del barrio, para luego generar una reflexión que se convierte en problemática y motivo de diseño.

Campaign conceived under the purpose of encourage, from a friendly and prudent attitude, the residents of the Yungay neighborhood (Santiago, Chile) to restore it. The project is envisioned from the guiding principle of observation and comprehension of the neighborhood, to later being able of generating a reflection that becomes problem and motif of the design process.

El Barrio Yungay, ubicado en la zona norponiente de Santiago de Chile era de gran hegemonía social en los inicios de la gran capital. Hoy un sector se ha reconocido como Monumento Nacional por ser considerado Zona Típica, sin embargo la migración de la clase alta al sector oriente, los efecto de terremotos y la falta de mantención general en la zona, entre otras razones, han producido la migración y fragmentación de la comunidad barrial, invitando inmigrantes extranjeros a radicar en la zona y descontento en su gran desvalorización y declive. Con esto el habitante antiguo del barrio ha desarrollado una especie de resistencia al cambio, el cual dificulta el desarrollo y futuro de la zona.

The Yungay's neighborhood, located at the northwest part of Santiago of Chile was a residencial area of great social hegemony at the beginnings of the great capital. Today a section has been recognized as National Monument for being acknowledged as a Typical Zone, however the migration of the high class to the east side of the city, the effects of earthquakes and the lack of general maintenance, among other reasons, have produced the migration and fragmentation of the local community, inviting foreign immigrants to establish themselves in the zone and discontentment in it's great devaluation and decay. With this the old inhabitant of the neighbor has developed some sort of resistance to change, making more difficult the development and future of the zone.
