Poster:My poster shows a progression of the different stages of Gwendolyn’s life. It shows imagery from her youth transitions to an older more mature Gwendolyn. I overlapped text from both parts of her life to creating a divide, much like her personality division caused by the Civil Rights conference of 1967.

Inside Book: The book was split into two parts: Part 1 aka pre-1967 and Part 2 aka post-1967. As previously mentioned, I used two typefaces to represent each one—creating a sense of unity, but the difference. Part 2 of the book is also printed on a different type of paper, to emphasize the dramatic nature of her change.
