Prosopon (originally meant “face” or “mask” in Greek) — specifies how to adapt to the cultural model. It’s a mask that human takes for social use, a compromise between the individual and society.

Each person is exposed to the effects of the environment. Person assuming the mask takes the attitude that is expected of him in social and professional life. Attitude is internalized, sensitive tendency to respond in a society in a certain way, by taking specific actions expected by society. A set of subjective views and experiences called worldview is a source of desired attitudes which force individuals to assimilation, behave in fixed rules and mutual imitation.

Persona is the area of the psyche, which mediates between the ego and the external world. Artificial image of an authentic personality. Entity much better plays its role in the environment if the ego identifies with the persona. In that case the actual feelings go down to second place. Human begins to isolate from himself and his personality becomes colorless, two-dimensional. That entity is an artificial image of human, a reflection of society rather than an autonomous human being.
