Braindance is a neuro-art project that tries to bridge the gap between science and art.
Its goal was to find and visualize the differences in people's response to music they
heard for the first time. We teamed up with Blckb, Applied Neuroscience and with the help  of EEG
technology, 20 volunteers' brainwaves were measured while listening to a musical
piece made especially for this occasion by kleemar. This was happening in a black box,
where the subjects were deprived from all senses except hearing.
We concentrated on visualizing the two most significant and scientifically explainable
measures - focus and flow. Focus tells us how concentrated a person is, flow
is the amount of one's relaxation. The results were visualized in the form of B1 posters
and exhibited, while each of the participants got to take one copy home as a
personalized image of their brain.
