Wedding Invitation 'Get On The Love Bus'
The 'VW-Van-passion' of the future groom was the starting of this 'Flower Power'-wedding invitation. As the cliché wants, you can expect lots of flowers, geometric sixties-backgrounds & graphics... Nevertheless, I've tried to give the whole a contempory, modern twist as well.
With the flower-power thought in mind, the invitation was printed in offset on Bio-paper. To keep printing costs limited, I had to choose two-colour-printing, which forced me to get inventive in mixing the black and yellow inks to get a wider colour range. The invitation consists a (folded) poster and corresponding invitationcards, all held together with a wrapper.
As often in my graphic work, connections with popmusic also play a key role in the communication. In this project, well-known artists and songs are used to announce the wedding.
