First Light at Gate Of The Valley in Yosemite National Park ~ Nov 18, 2014 @ 6:34am.

On this day, I arrived here at 5:30am way early  before sunrise at 6:45am. I stepped out the car to check out what's out there and uncarefully slipped and fell. I Didn't know the concrete ground was covered with thin frozen ice. Then about 30mins before the sunrise, colors started to change in the sky, and this was one of many different compositions. Image was hand-blended with 3 exposures in PS CC 2014.

On this rainy day, there was nothing visible at all for a while. I had to waited around with an umbrella for at least 30 mins before clouds and fog started to clear up little by little. I took many shots and waited for better visibility of El Capitan, but it got worst. For this image, I was waited for at least an hour. It was back to nothing and started to rain hard. So I gave up and left with hours of joy.

On this day, I was totally supprised by this early morning snow. I'd never seen Yosemite so beautiful like this until this morning. This was taken with my first DSLR camera which is Canon 7D. At the time, I was only started photography for just a year or so. I had to take this shot away from the snow, because there was a group of photographers with a tour, and one of the tour guide said not to leave prints on the snow. So we all stayed away and took our shots from behind.

until this day, I am still waiting to see another magical day like this in Yosemite.
