Fish Tessellation
This project was an assignment for an Introduction to Multimedia Course. The only creative criteria included creating a tessellation of choice. Adobe Illustrator CS6 was used to create this project.

My goldfish, Calvin, inspired me to create a tessellation of fish. I then remembered a book about a colorful fish I had read in elementary school and set my idea in stone. It took me some time to create the shape of the fish and it took many tries to proportion each fish properly for them to fit together, but eventually got it. I decided to use warm colors and have them turn cooler towards the tail of the fish. Alternating the fish made the colors blend nicely and created a very colorful piece. I then created an upside down wave effect to make it look like the fish are in water. My goal was to create a colorful school of fish to represent Calvin and I think he'd love it.
Possible Logo 1
This is the first example of one of my personal logos that I created for an Introduction to Multimedia class. This assignment required the creation of 10 different logos with at least 4 distinct designs. The logos were set out to be line based, shape based, text based, or image focused. The intent of the logos was to create a personal brand with the use of a unique personal logo. All logos were created using Adobe Illustrator CS6.

For this particular logo, I decided to focus on shape and text. I created an "A" with the use of lines to represent my first name. I made it go off the edges to create visual interest. I also added a pop of color with the turquoise middle of the "A" to stand out and add a unique aspect against the brown and white. This logo would easily transfer to t-shirts and is simple and interesting enough to become recognizable. The purpose of a logo is to represent a company or person and while I like the general design, I do not think it represents me. I see this logo as more of a logo for an accounting firm for example rather than myself.
Possible Logo 2
This is the second example my personal logos that I created for an Introduction to Multimedia class. As stated above, this assignment required the creation of 10 different logos with at least 4 distinct designs. The logos were set out to be line based, shape based, text based, or image focused. The intent of the logos was to create a personal brand with the use of a unique personal logo. All logos were created using Adobe Illustrator CS6.

This is the logo I chose to use to represent myself. I love the simplicity of it, yet the elegance it encompasses. Yet again, I went with a circle shape and decided to add my initials in the middle and connect them to the circle. I added a shadow to make the logo pop. I love the look of an all white logo against a white background but with this logo, the colors can be changed depending on the use. I was trying to achieve a very simple logo that represents myself and I think this particular one does just that.
All Logos
These are all the personal logos that I created for an Introduction to Multimedia class to brand myself.

I focused on four main colors; white, brown, turquoise, and tan. In all of the logos I played upon my initials, some being more straight forward while others are more creative. I also favored circular logos for my particular branding. I created a few variations and did choose one to use to brand myself.
Equality Poster
This poster was done for a Desktop Publishing class. The instructions for this project were to create a poster with a specific message of choice. I chose to create a poster on equality. The graphic was created in Adobe Illustrator CS6 and then transferred to Adobe InDesign CS6.

I choose not to add any text to this poster because it doesn't need text to speak. I relied on the graphic to portray the message of equality. I created a rainbow fist using the pen tool to represent the strength and power of the homosexual community. I used an equal’s sign at the bottom of the arm that could also be used as a sleeve. This poster can be used at any time and convey the same message.
