Newspaper Advertisement
In a newspaper, the audience is bombarded with text and a range of advertisements competing for your attention. Often times, the ads are trying to squeeze as much information and imagery into the space as possible.
This philly.com ad focused on a new section called, "Clean Plates" which measured the cleanliness of Philadelphia area restaurants. I wanted to use simplicity to draw the reader in. The ad stands out for it's contrast to in comparison to the nearby article above. I felt that the notion of "Clean Plates" should have a "clean" design as well.
