The Costs of Not Maintaining Trees Symposium
John Sulzbach, a resident of Killingworth, CT, has served as a production manager for Astroseal Products since 2005. John Sulzbach also pursues his interest in arboriculture as a licensed arborist in CT and a member of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA).

On March 18-19, 2015, the ISA will host its two-day conference, The Costs of Not Maintaining Trees Symposium, in Tampa, Florida. The event will feature lectures from a number of the world’s most prestigious experts in urban forestry, arboriculture, and utility vegetation management. Participants will examine the importance of trees in an urban green infrastructure, investigate the costs of weak urban forest management methods, and evaluate the possible benefits of appropriate urban planning and conservation. ISA notes that this analysis is crucial for elected officials and vegetation managers to make informed management decisions.

Hosted in conjunction with the Florida Urban Forestry Council (FUFC) and ISA’s Florida Chapter, The Costs of Not Maintaining Trees Symposium will take place at the Patel College of Global Sustainability at the University of South Florida.
