___Fall 2014___Case study in collaboration with Jesus Ortiz.

The new home to Academy of TV and Film and National museum of Egyptian Art designed by The Pritzker Prize Laureate Gottfried Böhm brings a significant difference to the Munich museum district from the constructional and urban planning point of view, sharing the same campus site with Technical University and Art Galleries.
An extremely unusual program of the building with a fairly modest presentation carries quite a few curious features in the structure and building systems such as nearly 1000 ft of chilled V-shaped beams which transport the loads into the floor plates at the same moment serving the lighting and ventilation flow in studios.
The Western entrance and interior design of the building resembles features of the traditional Egyptian architecture with a huge stone wall in front of the entrance, and various heights of the rooms on the ground and underground levels.
