CHRISTMAS WRAPPING PAPER CONCEPT

 

This project was about designing Christmas wrapping paper! My favourite thing about Christmas is decorating! I begun by sketching tree ornaments mum had collected over the past 30 years and was inspired by their playful shapes. My colour palette stemmed from this. One particular ornament was a 70's style felt/plastic deer which inspired the tinsel tangled fellow. I sketched the pose from my imagination so forgive the odd anatomy but I hope it adds to the charm! I threw in some cats for good measure although they are not brilliant present wrappers. The initial sketches were scanned and coloured in Adobe Photoshop.
