Each year, members of the Student Champaign-Urbana Design Organization host 'SCUDO Gives', a three-day design jam and workshop where members volunteer their design skills to help local non-profit organizations from the Champaign-Urbana area in rebranding their identity.
For 2014, we collaborated with ActGreen, an organization in the UIUC College of Business. ActGreen works together with local businesses and organizes events to educate the next generation of global business leaders to make decisions that will positively impact the environment. We were tasked with designing a new logo, a slide deck, and social media elements that could be repurposed for their informational materials. ActGreen members specified that they wanted a "professional, yet welcoming" brand, and so we worked to develop a fitting identity.
