Product Concept, Prototyping 2014

Chester is a stool made out of stitched wood, that puts the topic of moulded wood into a whole new perspective. The concept is based on the conventional form of plywood production, but interprets the opportunities new by integrating a padding directly in the veneer surface. It is not only adorning but also cushioning and can be used either independently or in conjunction with plywood. Thus Chester reveals new possibilities for the traditional plywood production and makes hard seats hum!
