WHAT IS BUNK'ART?
Underground structure in which the video-museum exhibition, is anti-nuclear bunker built in Tirana between 1972 and 1978.
The bunker consists of 106 rooms distributed in five levels, where included an assembly-hall auditorium. Until now this facility has remained the exclusive disposal of the military, secret maximum level.
The structure is designed and set up to accommodate all the command line of the government in the event of a chemical or atomic bombing against the Albanian capital. The exhibition aims key historical events in the period between 1939 and 1944 the Italian invasion memories immediately before and immediately after the liberation.
Exhibition of museum pieces and video art installations, sound, light, images to recreate a historical and emotional journey. During the opening will be open for school visits, that bunker and its contents, constitute the case of a reflection and recognition for youth, national history
