Crysis Analogue Edition

Teaser Trailer for the official Crysis board game
This trailer was created to promote the official Crysis board game that we developed. We used recorded ingame footage from the original game and added in 3D animations of the board game created in Blender. The idea was to show interactions on the board game and reflect them with mechanics of the original game to put the mechanics of the board game across for fans of the franchise.
Box Cover
The idea was to represent the fictional conflict between the US Special Forces and the CELL Organisation whilst promoting the signature predator bow from Crysis 3 and promoting the series' characteristic Nanosuit, which won a Red Dot design award. The layout sketch, logo and layout was created by us, whilst the actual illustration was done by Crytek in Frankfurt using their existing game assets.
Game Overview
This overview shows a typical game situation with pretty much all of the material visible. The board features plastic pieces that can be re-arranged for more replayability, while each player can track his soldier's stats using the smaller boards.
The Miniatures
Derived from the original video game assets, the miniatures were recreated in Blender to pre-visualize how the plastic pieces would look.
