Floating pools, another design process

A conceptual project born from the research of an existing building as the beginning of a new design process. Walden 7, designed by Ricardo Bofill  in 1974 is the analyzed building.

The process begins with the realization of automatic drawings and analysis of the building shape. The next step is to create a model that became the basis for the new project. This project ended up being a “swimming pool.”

This work is not the realization of a viable project, but an investigation of a new design process.
Maybe it is an utopian project, but a free entrance swimming pool in the middle of the street where everyone have access seems to me an appealing space.
