Este projecto foi realizado num âmbito académico, com o objectivo de criar uma estrutura efémera
que servisse como espaço polivalente, destinado aos alunos da Faculdade de Arquitectura de Lisboa.
A estrutura deveria ser facilmente montada e desmontada, modular, inclusiva e sustentável. O projecto dividiu-se em várias fases, sendo que esta é a fase de definição de conceito e de criação da imagem institucional do espaço.
This was a college project, with the aim of creating an ephemeral structure that would serve as a multipurpose area for students of the Faculdade de Arquitectura de Lisboa. The structure should be easily assembled and disassembled, modular, inclusive and sustainable. The project was divided into several stages. This was the phase of concept definition and creation of the institutional image.

O nome MUDA surgiu do conceito do projecto: espaço transformável e, por isso, em constante mudança.
A palavra MUDA tem um carácter assertivo, pragmático e incita à acção. É curta e fácil de recordar,
e remete para o ditado popular “Quem está mal, muda-se”. O símbolo do MUDA surgiu da vista superior
dos módulos que constituem a estrutura. Estes formam uma imagem simétrica, angulosa e trapezoidal, lembrando a letra M de MUDA.
The name MUDA ("change" in english) was inspired by the project concept: transformable space and therefore, constantly changing. The word MUDA has an assertive and pragmatic character and encourages action. It is short and easy to remember, and refers to the popular saying "Quem está mal, muda-se"
(in english, "If you're unhappy, change"). The symbol of MUDA came up from the top view of the modules
of the structure. These form a symmetric, angular and trapezoidal image, resembling the letter M of MUDA

Foi criada sinalização de orientação desde a entrada da Faculdade até ao espaço MUDA. A sinalização
é composta por aplicações impressas em vinil e coladas no pavimento. Seguindo o conceito de constante tranformação, a tinta usada nas impressões é tinta termocromática, que permite a mudança de cor, conforme a temperatura exterior.
It was created some guidance signing from the college entrance to the MUDA area. The guidance signing consists of applications printed on vinyl and glued to the floor. Following the concept of transformation, the ink used in the printing is thermochromic ink that allows to change the color of the application, depending on the outside temperature.

Tal como a sinalização, os painéis fenólicos que revestem o exterior da estrutura efémera são impressos
a tinta termocromática e as cores variam conforme a temperatura exterior.
Like the signing, the phenolic panels that coat the exterior walls of the structure are printed in thermochromic ink and the colors vary depending on the outside temperature.
