In 2000, I worked as a Producer for an exciting start-up company registered in Singapore called GetIT (Global Empowerment through IT) which was an offshoot of a telecommunications consultancy firm of the same name but which was registered in the Silicon Valley.  GetIT evolved into a turnkey multimedia solutions provider, leveraging our Silicon Valley link to our advantage (we used to say we always had insider knowledge about the next big thing because of this) and we became the leading supplier of "rich media content", i.e. video streaming synchronised powerpoints, which at the time, was the industry standard for conveying e-learning. 

GetIT Multimedia (later renamed GetIT Pte Ltd) began with the goal to capitalise on visual content and communications technology to disseminate and share technical knowledge to empower and transform businesses.  GetIT Multimedia offered fast, effective solutions to clients, and was featured as a leader in knowledge exchange by international media such as CNN, CNBC, San Jose Mercury News.  Key clients included Cisco Systems, the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council (PECC) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). GetIT's principal consultant was Ms Laina Raveendran Greene, a true visionary, dynamic entrepreneur and dependable friend.
