wild Up's concert for SB Arts & Lectures at Hahn Hall explored the concept "Pulp" in all forms from ephemera to oranges to violence.

Artistic director Christopher Rountree wanted to create a poster to commemorate the experience. He explained the show concept and described some of their song selections as "wallpaper music". One piece featured group member Chris Kallmyer making orange juice on stage while recounting the origin story of the blender in use. At intermission, concert goers were each handed a paper sack with a tangerine and unbleached paper nakin. This lead me to create this visual of the abstracted orange trees masquerading as wallpaper. The typography is inspired by the orange peel texture, and the colors pick up on the unbleached paper napkin – perfect to commemorate a mid-Fall production.
