The aim of this project was to experiment with traditional and digital media to create 4 visual montages based on 5 random words ; a colour, a person, a place, an thing and a number. Each montage needed to include all of the words and at least one of them is to be used as a book/CD cover design.

Developed from one of the moodboards created during the research process, in this illustration in collage style takes a main theme the snake, finding the rest of the ideas camouflaged into the chaos. On the upper right corner we can find money as allegory of Jacob Rothschild, very rich and powerful being. Same side and lower corner we see a graphic representation of mathematical stuff related with Grahams number and in a medium high between them is located the Fernsehturm Berlin.
All over a dark pink skin-like background.
Retaking the idea of the textured background as a representation of the snake and the geranium simplified and adapted to the dimensions of an open book cover, we've located this time the money as a vertical divisor of space, visible from all the 3 sides of the book, floating over a half transparent shadow in black that gives profundity to the composition and represent dimensions as a part of the Graham's number idea. Cuted out off it we find again, now as a silhouette, the Berlin TV tower.
Trying now a minimalism style of two colours and silhouettes developed with Illustrator, we find as a main theme the Berlin tower, containing a dollar-shaped snake as representation of Jacob's fortune. The arrow at the top represents Graham's calculations.
Starting now to place the text, I've choosen a strong and vertical typography that matches with the illustration and the concept.
Second test of text placing, this time with more dynamic shapes that collaborate in the Idea of ascension, skirt-shaped that combined with the colour can transmit the perfect concept for a feminist book.
Political thriler here, with a much more conceptual composition. we can find in the background manuscripts of handwriten calculations, coloured in pink. the eagle as concept of power is hounting the Snake building of berling as a metaphore of Berlin's capture by the nazism ideologies, being the judaism comunity represented by the snake itself.
Last but not least, as final result of the proyect, two of the illustrations mocked-up into a 3D book.
