A creatives' body of work isn't just what is delivered as final artwork. There are those concepts and iterations that never see the light of day. This page is dedicated to giving those visuals their moment in the spotlight.
VODAFONE UK
During my time at Vodafone I was presented with numerous opportunities to visualise concepts and present an alternative approach to external contributions. Above you can see my iteration of the Vodafone VIP app icon and the logo/ident for the innovative Power Pocket, which charges your phone by channelling your body heat.
PAYCIRCLE
Paycircle is a cloud-based pay platform for staffing agencies and enables field-based workers to stay in control of their pay. After a successful brand creation process, exploration took place into the execution on product deliverables, such as app icons and metaphors for explaining the mechanics online.
MY IOS7
The launch of Apple's iOS7 visual style was met with a negative response. Inconsistent icon style, poor execution and a lack of imagination were some of the comments from the design community. I set about recreating a handful of icons, as a personal project, exploring relevant content and crafting a consistent and refined style.
STONEWATER
Merger of two existing housing associations required an identity unrelated to their current brand. The first of the two visuals explored the use of shape, with the subtle curve replicating the concept of 'water', along with creating an 'S' in the base hexagon. As an alternative, the second concept focussed on the tangible link between the layers of the business and construction of property.
OHSOYOGA
Local start-up Ashtanga Vinyassa yoga teacher who required an identity for her brand. Use of colour to compliment the tranquility, with the font translating the flexibility of the body. Re-work of base font required to present a complimentary type style.
