So, i was asked to make an ilustration for National movement "Yasunidos" here in Ecuador. A movement incharged of trying to increase awareness of the civilizations that live in the Yasuni sector.

 

I decided to focus on an awful ad made by the government which portrayed a baby carried by her mother and suddenly being "vaccined" in his arm, being a metaphor of the "Just one percent" posture taken by the government.

 

That gave me the idea of ilustrating the Acchiless Heel myth, but reversing the concept of protection to defiling. The different faces portrayes the different moods that the president and people have on this issue.
