The spitze shoot was a succesfull collaboration with renowned stylist Carolina Pestman and my favourite makeup artist anika roelink. we decided to shoot our model Anne (Lindamodels) with her special talent of danving on pointy shoes. i do not like the concept of dancer-photographed so we took it a step further. Anne has incorporated the fact that being on pointy shoes is invalidating and we went from there. we muted her with the ribbons of the shoes, she poses with crutches and her garment was put together from trashionista-ways, the stylist ripped dresses and shredded stockings to accentuate the invaldidation by the shoes. Stylish pieces she obtained at various fleamarkets in the centre of the city of Amsterdam. the muah was built up from pastel to splattered blues to finish the look. I have postprocessed the images with fine lineart scratches that follow curved lines, like the feet being arched.
