The Southern Showdown

This brand was born from one man's idea to create a charity event which would inspire everday corporate people to get up and do something a little less ordinary. Calling contenders from all walks of life, with an array of skill level, fitness level and varying degrees of self motivation. This event has now become an iconic annual charity function where 12 contenders embark on a 12 week journey of self discovery, dedication, disciplin and stamina and ultimately battle it out in the ring for their chosen charity.
 
The brand for this event had to be more about the glitz and less about the gore. The logo had to present a touch of grunge, masculinity and bold elements yet balance synonimously with the idea that it is a an evening of glitz and glamour, a show stopping performance.
